We were honored to welcome Doug Katsaros to last week’s Composers Forum!
A highly accomplished composer, arranger, orchestrator, keyboardist, and vocalist, Doug shared insights from a remarkable career spanning over six decades. From his work on platinum- and award-winning recordings with artists like Elton John, Bon Jovi, Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart, Cher, Aerosmith, Gloria Estefan, and B. B. King, to his extensive work across Broadway, film, television, and live events, Doug offered a truly expansive perspective on a life in music.
Students had the chance to engage with Doug after the session, asking thoughtful questions and gaining deeper insight—especially into his approach to vocal writing, where his energy and expertise really shined.
