Hang in there with us over the next couple of weeks as we compete an overhaul of the shop space. We’ve got some really cool things coming in that we’re making room for and giving the shop a mini facelift.

We will be open during this process, so come on in and see us. If you can’t, check us out online and I’ll ship it to your doorstep.

It took a village. Three women built one. 🩷

In 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer before I’d had the chance to become a mom. Treatment meant IVF, one embryo, and the news I’d need a surrogate — at a cost of $150,000, with none of the financial support oncology patients deserve.

So two other survivors, Victoria Raphael and Ann Palmer, and I googled how to start a nonprofit, filled the chip dip at our own fundraisers, and bootstrapped A Chance For Life from nothing.

My son, Chance, arrived in December 2023 — months after we awarded our first grant.

This summer, our first grant recipients, Rusty and Christina, welcomed their daughter Stella after a two-year wait for the right surrogate. Every dollar donated helped make that happen.

We were three women who turned pain into purpose. And we won’t rest until every woman gets her Chance.

Donate at www.achanceforlife.org or at the link in bio and join our village. 🩷

‘How to be a Good Jewish Tree’ - Available on Amazon 💙

In all seriousness, I actually do hope kids can read this book and understand that for thousands of years, Jewish people have been pressured to give up parts of themselves to fit in, and when they do, it never works out the way they hope it will.

So be proud of who you are. Be a proud Jewish tree. And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
