A year ago tonight, my beautiful, silly, adorable, magnificent FLORIAN snuggled up and put himself to bed for the last time. He simply didn’t wake up the following morning.

It still doesn’t feel quite real. He - and Hector - were so the centre of my existence. I’m so grateful for the 20% of my life to date that I got to spend with them: the endless walks, the adventures, the love, and the cuddles. He was such a teddy boy 🧸 with those big, deep, melt-your-heart, soulful eyes of his.

And it turns out, a year on, that time really isn’t that much of a healer….
