It still doesn’t feel quite real. He - and Hector - were so the centre of my existence. I’m so grateful for the 20% of my life to date that I got to spend with them: the endless walks, the adventures, the love, and the cuddles. He was such a teddy boy 🧸 with those big, deep, melt-your-heart, soulful eyes of his.
And it turns out, a year on, that time really isn’t that much of a healer….

Knowing the heartbreak of losing our Collies at separate times only makes the loss of Hector and Florian so close together seem totally unbearable. My heart goes out to you Peter ❤️

That year mark is a heavy one. It’s in some ways a relief to mark having endured (survived) the loss for so long but also a shock to realize that it’s been that long. Sweet Florian. I am grateful for your sharing of him and his brother here. Hugs on a day of remembering the both of them 🤎🤍🩵
