"It's insensitive to pray that you won't die under the post of someone grieving a loved one" - Influencer Tomike Adeoye tells Nigerians Nigerian influencer Tomike Adeoye has criticised people who post prayers about their own loved ones' longevity under social media posts mourning someone who has died. In a video shared online, Tomike described the practice as insensitive, explaining that such comments could hurt people who were grieving the loss of a loved one. Recalling the loss of her mother, she questioned why someone would comment, "May our mothers live long to reap the fruits of their labour," under a post where she was expressing sadness over her mother's passing. She urged Nigerians to be more considerate when commenting on bereavement posts, adding that people could pray for their loved ones privately or in church rather than under another person's grief.
Just hitting the basics🫶🏻👀

I’m ready to repair my strained relationships with my dad, King Charles, and my brother, Prince William — Prince Harry Prince Harry has expressed his desire to reconcile with his father, King Charles III, and brother, Prince William, despite their longstanding disagreements. Speaking to GQ magazine, he said: “Some people don’t want it to work out. I want it to work out. With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile - that’s the key point.” He added: “Scars stick around forever. But what your perception is, and what your mindset is to those things that have happened, letting go of the past, that’s something that I would encourage everybody to do.” Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as working royals in 2020. His memoir, Spare, detailed the family rift. Speaking about family disagreements, Harry said: “Sibling disagreements, broken relationships between kids and their parents, kids and one parent - that continues to come up with me the whole time with people that I speak to.” On his children, Archie and Lilibet, he said: “Opportunities for the family. Being able to put the kids in a British school has meant a lot to me. I didn’t know how important it was to me.” “They [Archie and Lilibet] are loving it, and it’s just giving them a whole different experience,” he added. On King Charles’s health following cancer treatment, Harry said: “He’s getting better.” Reflecting on his mother, Princess Diana, who d+ed in 1997, he said: “I love the fact that I’m able to now sort of carry the memory of my mother with me, with my work, rather than it hold me down, pull me back, or wallowing in that grief.” Rejecting public sympathy, he said: “I certainly don’t want any sympathy. That’s where we’re way past that. Why? Because I’m a prince. I’ve got a support network around me, I’ve done different forms of therapy, and I put in the work. I wonder where I would be if I didn’t - it could be a very different situation.” A spokesman clarified that Harry’s comment about opposition to reconciliation was not directed at William or any other family member.
