i had a thought about this silly little ring.

i got this ring over the summer, in a flea market in nice. and i totally got ripped off and it turns my finger green and it barely stays put in its setting but it reminds me that i was actually there. in nice. a place that I’ve dreamed of going as long as i can remember. so in a very real way this silly little ring signifies so much to me. it represents my dreams, and it is a constant reminder that they can come to fruition.

I’m in a season right now where creating is not where my time is spent, and that is hard for me but I’m putting my time and my energy into other dreams i have and it’s so scary and i have to wear this ring to remind myself that dreams can actually come true and it’s ok to hope and it’s good to hope and it’s necessary to hope.

so, I’ll keep wearing this silly little ring and I’ll keep hoping in and working toward these big scary dreams and i hope you do too.
