Rebel by #beverlyjenkins is the book that kicked off my journey through Aunt Bev’s backlist. I bumped into her at The Jefferson Market NYPL in February of 2023. I couldn’t put this book down and ate up every detail. It’s set in post- Civil War New Orleans and is the steamy and dreamy love story between Valinda a Northern born school teacher and Drake a former Union soldier. #beverlyjenkinsbooks #beverlyjenkins #blackhistoricalromancebooks #rebelbybeverlyjenkins
