RNCM Gospel Choir Concert - 25/04/2026

What an incredible night. A week on and I’m still pinching myself that I got to be a part of this amazing project. The joy and passion from everyone on the stage and in the audience was overwhelmingly palpable and was far beyond anything I could expect.

Incredibly proud of the insane amount of work and dedication that everyone involved poured into this performance.

Hugely grateful to @wayneellingtonmusic for trusting me with the role of Musical Director. The guidance, encouragement and confidence you have given me has been utterly transformative. And to @rebecca.may.lane for your immense dedication, consideration and most of all friendship.

None of this would have been possible without the outstanding group of musicians alongside me in the band. The respect and care they showed for Gospel music was instantaneous and whole-hearted. It was an absolute privilege and pleasure to play, learn and grow alongside these fine young men this year and I’m humbled to have been given the opportunity to lead them.

A massive shoutout to the choir directors. Watching the choir grow week by week through your skill, leadership and diligence has been an absolute inspiration to witness.

Big thanks to all the orchestral arrangers who worked with me to create fantastic arrangements, and to the String and Horn players who helped bring the music to life and elevated the performance to another level.
