Sometimes when I’m teaching, I get asked what’s it like in the acting business. Tbh it’s gotten harder not to give them a pessimistic answer...

There is no *balance* when it comes to this line of work. There’s up and there’s down. There’s booked and busy and there’s “I haven’t gotten an audition in a month” This career is not for the faint of heart, but I’m still here.

Obvi I don’t curse in front of my students, instead I say “it’s pretty darn toot-in exhausting” and then they laugh, bc I’m hilarious.
