KICK Quality Lead, @joemallett97, recently attended powerful training on tackling violence at its root and supporting young people more effectively. One of the biggest takeaways: relationships matter before results.

Young people don’t need more judgment - they need consistency, patience, safe spaces, and adults who genuinely care. Sometimes the greatest impact isn’t solving every issue, but listening well, staying present, and helping them discover their strengths.

We may not always see immediate change, but every encouraging conversation plants a seed. 🌱
For anyone working with young people: keep showing up. It matters more than you know.

Thank you, Joe, for sharing these valuable reflections from the training.
