🚗 Self-driving cars promise a smoother ride but could they actually make traffic worse?
New research from UT Arlington’s Civil Engineering Department reveals that widespread autonomous vehicle adoption could increase vehicle miles traveled by nearly 6%, adding even more pressure to already-congested roads and highways.

Unjuk rasa pecah akibat kemarahan publik terhadap pemerintah Prancis buntut dugaan kekerasan polisi terhadap protes anak sekolah hingga tingginya biaya hidup dan bahan bakar. Dilansir AFP, penjarahan dan perusakan terjadi pada Sabtu (17/10) waktu Prancis. Di Kota Marseille, para demonstran menargetkan gerai-gerai brand mewah seperti Hermes dan toko-toko yang menjual perhiasan, baju, makeup, hingga keperluan rumah tangga. Di Bordeaux, pengunjuk rasa merusak dan menjarah gerai-gerai Louis Vuitton, Hermes, serta Apple. Dikutip dari New York Post, setidaknya 550 ribu demonstran berunjuk rasa di berbagai wilayah Prancis.
