🚗 Self-driving cars promise a smoother ride but could they actually make traffic worse?
New research from UT Arlington’s Civil Engineering Department reveals that widespread autonomous vehicle adoption could increase vehicle miles traveled by nearly 6%, adding even more pressure to already-congested roads and highways.

When leadership meets learning 🤝

We had the honor of hosting Jim Ross at UTA, where he shared his journey, work ethic, and insights on policy and city development. From his vision of making Arlington the best city to engaging directly with students through thoughtful Q&A, it was an inspiring and insightful session.

Moments like these remind us how powerful it is to connect classroom learning with real-world leadership. 💡🏙️
