Hi, I’m Aly — and this is Poppy.
Poppy is my adopted rescue cat, an 11-year-old senior who spent part of her life as a stray before ending up in a shelter… and eventually, in my home.
Adopting her has been one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.
We’re excited to share her story with you, and when the time is right, continue fostering to help more cats like her find their way home.

Your page popped up on my feed and my soul kitty is also named Poppy, then I get to this post and MY name is Allie. I never thought about another Aly Poppy duo out there but it seems to be a good pairing 🫶🏼

I adopted my sweet girl after our shelters became overrun due to hurricane Ida tearing down a bunch of shelters in Louisiana. I’ve never had a cat with such a sweet and fun personality but it definitely took time. She still has anxiety when it comes to windy thunderstorms and I don’t think that’ll ever change. I’m happy to have found her and have her in my home. She’s an amazing kitty to have around.
