KPK menggelar operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) di wilayah Kabupaten Klaten, Jawa Tengah, pada Kamis (15/10). Ketua KPK Setyo Budiyanto membenarkan membenarkan Bupati Klaten Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo turut diamankan.

"Benar," kata Setyo kepada wartawan, Kamis (15/10).

Sementara itu, Juru Bicara KPK Budi Prasetyo mengatakan, total ada 20 orang yang diamankan dalam OTT tersebut. Mereka diamankan di wilayah Klaten dan Jakarta. Pihak-pihak yang diamankan terdiri dari penyelenggara negara, ASN di lingkungan Pemkab Klaten dan BPK, serta pihak swasta.

Dalam operasi tersebut, KPK turut mengamankan uang tunai. Budi menyebut, berdasarkan penghitungan sementara, uang yang diamankan mencapai sekitar Rp 1 miliar.

Budi mengatakan, perkara ini diduga berkaitan dengan penerimaan oleh penyelenggara negara terkait pengadaan barang dan jasa, perizinan, maupun penerimaan lainnya dari organisasi perangkat daerah (OPD). Selain itu, KPK menduga adanya pemberian dari bupati kepada oknum Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) terkait audit.

KPK memiliki waktu 1x24 jam untuk menentukan status hukum pihak-pihak yang diamankan tersebut. Hamenang belum berkomentar soal OTT tersebut. Statusnya masih terperiksa.
