You aren’t a “hardgainer.” You’re just wasting your reps. 🛑👇
If you’ve been showing up to the gym for months but your body hasn’t changed, the problem isn’t your genetics. The problem is HOW you are executing the movement.
Moving a weight from Point A to Point B as fast as possible doesn’t build muscle. It just strokes your ego and wrecks your joints—especially if you’re over 30 and can’t afford sloppy mechanics.
The difference between Video 1 and Video 2 is Intent.
If you want real progress, you need to master these 4 things:
1️⃣ Stability: If your body is swinging, you are leaking energy. Lock it down.
2️⃣ Breath & Brace: Create internal tension before the bar even moves.
3️⃣ Tempo: Control the eccentric (lowering) phase. That is where the growth happens.
4️⃣ Control: You dictate where the weight goes, not momentum.
Stop counting reps and start making your reps count.
💾 SAVE this as a reminder for your next arm day.
