Incredibly honored to be presenting at @pcu.psychedelicculture conference this weekend in San Francisco, hosted by @chacruna.institute 🙌

I started using psychedelics 22 years ago now (wow) and my journey with plant medicine has been a fundamental part of who I have become. In fact, Somatic Channeling awoke in me 10 years ago with the aid of psychedelics.

So it truly feels like a massive full circle moment to present this weekend - leading an experiential workshop on somatics, energetics and dance within psychedelic ritual spaces with the amazing @flecha.ana - who I was on a panel with in 2025 at the @maps__org conference Psychedelic Science.

That panel in 2025 was an adaptation of my talk at Psychedelic Science in 2023 called "Rave as Ritual." Which , at the time, was considered a little controversial in the space - because it actually valued the therapeutics of recreational use.

Flash forward, now this topic is common at psychedelic conferences.

I bring this up to say that this year I'm sharing yet an another viewpoint that is unconventional even within the psychedelic field -- that the revolution of the body that is @somaticchanneling and energy healing / movement based practices connected to spirituality of the body are absolutely a part of the psychedelic experience of so many. Not a marginal piece. A central piece.

I'm passionate that this work must be shared - and there must be a voice to represent the importance of energetic and somatic modalities in psychedelic spaces. So I'm deeply honored.

@chacruna.institute pushes the envelope-- in so many ways. I'm absolutely blown away by the perspectives and values of this conference so far. It gives me hope for the future of the field.
