Some clips from my set last Friday at @clubvinyl / support duties for @hamdimusic 🧨🧨 Final slide.. Hamdi :)

Twas a privilege to open... and it felt so good to lean into my proclivities towards a heavier sound without worrying what people would think 😆

It was wild to feel the insane energy in the room that night. Reminded me why I love being a part of Denver's bass music culture.!!

NEXT UP NEXT UP NEXT UP

Some words from @bratches_dj who you can catch NEXT WEEK Sept 25th . Just hit da Text line.

BRATCHES is a DJ/producer, psychedelic facilitator, energy healer and writer based in Colorado. She came up as a raver in the Denver electronic music scene before relocating to Los Angeles and starting out as a DJ in LA’s underground. In 2018, Resident Advisor named her mix for The Bunker NY “best of the month,” and in 2019 she moved to Brooklyn, making rounds in the NY club circuit (Public Records, Good Room, The Bunker, Bossa Nova Civic Club and others). She was then picked up by Dirtybird, joining their artist roster for multiple festivals. Since then, she’s toured across the U.S. playing raves and clubs in many cities, and has released tracks on Justin Jay’s label Fantastic Voyage and the boutique ambient label Enmossed. For four years, she was also a music critic for Resident Advisor, writing album reviews and running a feature series called Dance Floor Epiphanies. by @bratches_dj

Legendary business here with these DJs who continue to push the limit on what’s possible in the realm of bass 140bpm and the ever compromised world of dubstep.

A night of open air quadrophonic sound we’ll have our secret location decorated by @future0villains in order transport us to a new dimension and the maximum deliciousness of Trinidadian food from our friends at DENVER DOUBLES. Deya or squaya you gotta hit the text line to be involved. So hit up 1-313-209-5309 for a ticket. by @bratches_dj

Incredibly honored to be presenting at @pcu.psychedelicculture conference this weekend in San Francisco, hosted by @chacruna.institute 🙌

I started using psychedelics 22 years ago now (wow) and my journey with plant medicine has been a fundamental part of who I have become. In fact, Somatic Channeling awoke in me 10 years ago with the aid of psychedelics.

So it truly feels like a massive full circle moment to present this weekend - leading an experiential workshop on somatics, energetics and dance within psychedelic ritual spaces with the amazing @flecha.ana - who I was on a panel with in 2025 at the @maps__org conference Psychedelic Science.

That panel in 2025 was an adaptation of my talk at Psychedelic Science in 2023 called "Rave as Ritual." Which , at the time, was considered a little controversial in the space - because it actually valued the therapeutics of recreational use.

Flash forward, now this topic is common at psychedelic conferences.

I bring this up to say that this year I'm sharing yet an another viewpoint that is unconventional even within the psychedelic field -- that the revolution of the body that is @somaticchanneling and energy healing / movement based practices connected to spirituality of the body are absolutely a part of the psychedelic experience of so many. Not a marginal piece. A central piece.

I'm passionate that this work must be shared - and there must be a voice to represent the importance of energetic and somatic modalities in psychedelic spaces. So I'm deeply honored.

@chacruna.institute pushes the envelope-- in so many ways. I'm absolutely blown away by the perspectives and values of this conference so far. It gives me hope for the future of the field.

We asked artists: what is your favourite music festival you’ve gone to?

Bratches from Denver made a shoutout to Organik Festival in Taiwan - a beautiful natural setting with a strong sense of community 🙏

Visages (France) are armed with an array of new music and bookings across the world. Denver, it’s time for us to show them how we rock this Saturday as they come through for their North American tour. @theyinvadeyou & @bratches_dj will be setting the vibe. Will you be there to bring the energy?

Shouts to our friends at @submission for making this one happen. Epic night ahead.
