What a weekend playing in my second consecutive @usopenpickleball ! So proud of my partner @newgroundphotography and I for our 4th place finish in Men’s Doubles!
4️⃣ Men’s Doubles
Last year I was able to capture Silver in singles. This year, I wanted to challenge myself that I could also go deep in doubles.
We fought through the backdraw after losing a tight 3 set first round to the eventual gold medalists and were able to get to the bronze medal match! It was hard to just come up short at 15-13 but it only motivates me to keep training and growing. Gave 100% on every point and mentally stayed positive. Will come back stronger from this.
So great to spend time with my grandmother and also enjoy relaxing a bit at the beach!
