Excited to share that I won a Bronze Medal in Men’s Singles at the @zimmer_biomet @officialapptour New York City Open!!

Some hard fought battles against talented players and just kept hanging in and fighting hard!

A special shout out to @kelseylovestennis for your support through the matches! Really appreciate it!

It was amazing to play at the @ustanationaltenniscenter

And apparently I have earned an APP Passport, which guarantees me a spot at the year end APP Tour Championships at @playthefort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in December!

Played in my first @usopenpickleball and was able to get on the podium! Won Silver in Men’s Singles in my category! 🥈

A little over a year ago I had just stumbled upon this sport and am now coaching it and have made so many great friends through it and new ones during this tournament!

Left everything out on the court and proud to have gotten to the championship match! Walking away proud!

The last picture is from a year ago when I happened to be in town during the open and I said I’d play in it next year and get on the podium! What a difference a year can make!

What a weekend playing in my second consecutive @usopenpickleball ! So proud of my partner @newgroundphotography and I for our 4th place finish in Men’s Doubles!

4️⃣ Men’s Doubles

Last year I was able to capture Silver in singles. This year, I wanted to challenge myself that I could also go deep in doubles.

We fought through the backdraw after losing a tight 3 set first round to the eventual gold medalists and were able to get to the bronze medal match! It was hard to just come up short at 15-13 but it only motivates me to keep training and growing. Gave 100% on every point and mentally stayed positive. Will come back stronger from this.

So great to spend time with my grandmother and also enjoy relaxing a bit at the beach!

What a year in pickleball! So glad I gave this sport a chance as it has brought so many blessings to my life.

Had a great year competing in tournaments, made some great friends, started working at an amazing pickleball club.
