Today we found some snakes in the stables. 3 to be exact. 🐍
BEND, OREGON | Still Here In a classroom where so much was lost on Thursday, two people are still fighting their way back. Saylor is 7. Her family calls her feisty and loving, a little girl with a fierce will to thrive. She'd already faced more medical challenges in seven years than most people face in a lifetime. On Thursday she was shot in the jaw and airlifted out of Bend, while her mom and dad tried to understand how their baby's school day had turned into this. Today, police say she's in serious but stable condition. Stable. After everything, that one word is something to hold onto. Becky Drury is 54. She's a teacher in that classroom, the kind of person who spends every day caring for kids who need a little extra patience and a lot of love. She was shot in her left arm and right hand. She's already been through surgery, and more are ahead. Her husband, Will, shared the words every family in that building was praying they'd get to say: "The good news is she will be ok and we all get to keep that magnificent woman we love so much in our lives." Four families didn't get that. Rhoam's didn't. Megan's didn't. Two more families, who have asked for privacy, didn't either. So today, Bend holds two truths at once. The grief is unbearable... and there's still hope in a hospital room for a little girl and a teacher who are still here. Saylor has a long road ahead. A fundraiser has been set up to help her family through it. The link is in the comments. #BendOregon #SilverRailElementary #BendStrong #CentralOregon #TheDailyDossier

1 week before the babies ➡️ 1 week after the babies 🤍 The first week postpartum has been a crazy, wonderful blur, and all the days are starting to blend together! Turns out there’s no easy way to get 4 babies out, so I needed a couple of extra days in the hospital to recover. I’m also temporarily on medication for high blood pressure. Swelling was one of the most uncomfortable parts of the last month of pregnancy, and it’s finally starting to go down! Still swollen, but NOTHING like before. 🙌🏼 Reasons I’ve cried this past week… • Because I love them so much • Because they’re so cute • Leaving the hospital • Going to the hospital • Because our doctor sent us a nice text • Because the wind blew 😂 Postpartum emotions are WILD. 🥹 We are so blessed and so grateful for these four little miracles. 🤍 #postpartum #quadruplets #thedubsquads #nicu #beforeandafter
