That’s a wrap for LYLC 2026! Soy Capaz🌹⚔️
The Latina Youth Leadership Conference is dedicated to bridging the gap to higher education for high school students. Despite recent changes in DEI, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. remained committed to ensuring this conference served as a vital resource and a hand up for our community.
This year, we saw a 177% increase in attendance, welcoming over 90 students from across Iowa!
A huge thank you to Estela’s, Bayer, and our incredible Alumni for your support and donations. We also want to thank the chaperones who joined us to support their students. Together, we’re making representation a reality in higher education. 🌹
“To the high school students who joined us, never forget that you belong in every room you enter. When the world feels big or the journey feels long, whisper those words to yourself. Soy Capaz is not just about having strength. Recognize the capability that is already yours. You have the strength to bridge any gap and the heart to overcome any barrier.”
