BREAKING: LULA WINS BRAZIL! 🇧🇷

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has won a historic fourth term, defeating far-right Sen. Flávio Bolsonaro in a stunning electoral comeback with enormous implications for the entire planet. The victory marks another major defeat for the Bolsonaro political dynasty, closely aligned with President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and a significant setback for the international far right.

Perhaps nowhere are the stakes greater than in the Amazon rainforest, one of Earth’s most important defenses against climate change. Under Lula, deforestation has fallen more than 70% since 2023, reaching historic lows. His victory safeguards an environmental agenda aimed at protecting the rainforest, its extraordinary biodiversity and the Indigenous communities who call it home. The consequences extend to billions of people whose futures depend on the health of the planet.

The result also carries profound implications for democracy, economic inequality and human rights. Lula’s government has expanded social assistance, raised the minimum wage and overseen significant reductions in poverty. His victory comes four years after defeating Jair Bolsonaro, who is now imprisoned for plotting a coup. Internationally, Lula has championed Palestinian statehood, multilateral cooperation and a more independent foreign policy. From the Amazon to Gaza, from workers’ rights to the fight against authoritarianism, Brazil’s election represents a defining moment with consequences reaching far beyond its borders. BORA LULA!!!!!

Bold, captivating, luxurious. The new @lancomeofficial La vie est belle Very Cherry eau de parfum is one of their most striking scents yet. 🍒

With notes of black cherry, violet leaf and warm, woody oud this fragrance is a beautiful mix of floral and fruity gourmand.
I personally find the notes really changed when they hit the skin to bring out the complexity - when I smelt from the bottle the cherry scent was strong and the notes weren’t reaching me. I absolutely love how this scent settles and I find it lingers pleasantly.

This is a fragrance worth investing in.

What’s your favourite fragrance? 💕
