I kept thinking it would look better sooner. It didn’t. But somewhere in the middle of not loving it, I stopped obsessing over fixing it. If you’re growing your color out, just know:
it’s not a glow-up the whole way through. It’s a long in-between.
This was 10 months in. I ended up cutting it all off a few months later, not out of frustration, just was ready for something different.
Only advice I have: don’t quit just because you don’t like how it looks right now.

Bless you I hope it turns out great. My hair is all the way to my butt and it will take years to grow out. I decided in January to try it. It’s now May and I’ve made an appointment to go in and have it colored. I can’t do it for six years. Might try again later when the gray is more prominent. Yours with all the white looks lovely.

I haven't dyed my hair in 10 years, Gray is starting to come in now. I can't say I will start dying it again! Keep going! ❤️

Instead of dealing with the line across your hair, just do lowlights on your hair and do fewer and fewer as it grows out. It will blend until eventually all the dye is gone

Girl it looks so good! Keep going! I always tell my clients to grow out their gray otherwise they have to come get their hair colored like every 3 weeks which is insane!! Less work income for me yes but I feel bad when they have to come in so often. Plus the gray is gorgeous!! Rock that gray! 🙌
