6 months agoOne thing that completely puts me off with TallowTwins is its leadership, how it chooses to represent, exploit, and then quietly erase culture without accountability tells me everything I need to know. It’s enough on its own to deter me from ever buying. Using Greek grandmothers as a marketing aesthetic without any real connection or credit is blatant exploitation. It reduces something deeply cultural into a trend for engagement. And yesterday’s post about Greek “yiayia” culture quietly deleted with no acknowledgment or apology only reinforces that. You don’t get to mine a culture for content, get called out, and then pretend it never happened. I’d be more careful next time to not wind up on Diet Prada.
