@shemsynwa - Shems is a British-Moroccan DJ raised between London and Marrakech. Influenced early on by his father, a DJ in the UK acid house scene, he developed a deep passion for music, later refining his skills through years of piano before turning to DJing at 18.

His sound blends house, techno, minimal, and drum & bass, creating a dynamic and versatile musical identity. After early experiences in Bristol and a year performing in Mexico, Shems returned to Marrakech, where he founded @elektrokesh and curated events alongside artists such as Dan Andrei, DJ Deep, and Jimpster.

He has held residencies at key venues across Morocco and hosts a weekly radio show, Sunrise with Shems, on Ness Radio. Now based in Berlin, he continues to evolve his sound, performing at iconic venues like About Blank and Sisyphos.

Driven by a passion for underground culture, Shems creates sets that connect, inspire, and move people.

We are excited to welcome him for the first time at Groover Club, where he will take over the daytime from 1PM to 4PM.
