Fossil Free London

Shell has done so much greenwashing, it’s even confusing them.

Today on 🌍 Earth Day, at Shell’s London HQ, @_forgottenhistory posed as their Sustainability team, and even they seemed to really buy into it - even accepting ‘well done’ stickers - and patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

This is how far their greenwashing has gone - even they have forgotten the devastating reality of their crimes.

So on Earth day here’s a reminder:

🔥Shell has made the Niger Delta the most polluted oil region on earth, and now they are walking away without cleaning up.

🔥They knew, from 1965 at the latest, that the production and combustion of fossil fuels were increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and this is the primarily cause of human made climate change.

🔥 Climate change and the current levels of warming, to which Shell has contributed, have roughly doubled the likelihood of a disaster like Super Typhoon Odette in the Philippines.

We exist to make life really hard for the fossil fuel industry - right here in the belly of the beast.
If you want to fight against Shell, then join Fossil Free London.
