Happy Earth day! 🌎
Last weekend, with tree saplings provided by the Vassar Grounds Crew, VTREE’s team of volunteers planted over 100 trees along the Casperkill riparian zone, which feeds into Sunset Lake!
Thank you so much to the Grounds Crew, the Office of Sustainability, the Arboretum Committee, the Preserve at Vassar, and everyone else who provided VTREE with supplies and mentorship to get these trees in the ground! We couldn’t have done it without you all.
Especially, thank you to our student and faculty volunteers!
