Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, to music executive Geoff Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Adebayo Ogunlesi.

The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, October 10, at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, in a star-studded ceremony attended by several prominent figures from Hollywood and the business world.

Maguire, best known for playing Spider-Man in Sam Raimi’s film trilogy, took on the unusual role of officiating the ceremony just weeks after his divorce from Meyer was finalised in September 2026.

Meyer, 49, is a celebrity jewellery designer, while her new husband, 34, is the founder and CEO of The Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company.

Geoff is the son of Adebayo Ogunlesi, a Nigerian-born lawyer and investment banker whose firm, Global Infrastructure Partners, was acquired by BlackRock in 2024.

The wedding was attended by several celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, Courteney Cox, Kate Hudson and Rachel Zoe.

Meyer and Maguire, who married in 2007 and separated in 2016, share two children, Ruby and Otis. The former couple have maintained a close relationship since their separation, prioritising their children and continuing to celebrate family occasions together.

Meyer and Ogunlesi, who began dating in 2023 and got engaged in August 2024, welcomed a daughter together in 2026 before their wedding.

Meyer has previously spoken warmly about her relationship with Maguire, describing him as an incredible father and ex-husband, while noting that she and the actor remain close friends.

The ceremony has drawn attention online, particularly because Maguire not only attended his ex-wife’s wedding but also officiated as she married another man.

Besties by choice, absolute chaos by nature. 👯‍♀️😂 Life’s better when we’re laughing together ❤️🖤

Have a very Hannie and Nyxie Tuesday ☺️

I will never forget this story about a foster child who was ultimately adopted by a godly couple. It's one of the best real-life illustrations of justification and sanctification that I've ever witnessed 🙌
