The modifier you choose changes EVERYTHING.

Same subject. Same light power. Same position. Five completely different results.

Here’s what each one does:
- Softbox + Grid: Soft light, but controlled. The grid stops it spilling everywhere, keeping your background darker and your light more intentional.
- Softbox: Big, diffused, forgiving. Wraps light beautifully around the face with gentle shadows.
- Reflector: Raw and punchy. More contrast, harder shadows, visible texture.
- Lantern: Wraps light in every direction. Feels natural and ambient.
- Beauty Dish: Gives skin a luminous “pop” without going too flat.

There’s no “best” modifier, only the right one for the mood you’re after.
