Scholar athletes are what me and @ddoth are raising. Equal parts school. Equal parts sports. Let me recapโ€ฆโ€ฆ Monday (today)- Both boys received academic awards at school. Sunday Devin had a 7 v 7 football tournament. Saturday morning- Devin ran a track meet and came in 3rd in the relay and 400m for his grade. Saturday night- Devin and Ayden had a baseball game. Friday night- Devin and Ayden had a baseball game. Momma and daddy are tired but WE ARE BEYOND PROUD OF OUR BOYS!!!!!

In 1979, Madonna was an aspiring dancer struggling to make it in New York when she met musician Dan Gilroy at a party. They began dating, and she moved into the old synagogue in Corona, Queens, where Gilroy lived and worked with his brother Ed.โ  โ  While the brothers waited tables by day and performed comedy at night, Madonna practiced drums and began writing songs. Gilroy taught her to play guitar, and together they formed the band Breakfast Club. She eventually convinced him to let her sing her own songs.โ  โ  In 1980, Madonna left Breakfast Club to form her own band, Emmy and the Emmys.
