The People's Medic

We had a table at @audiobarlv & got to do what we love, be in community, & share real information with real people. Harm reduction saves lives wherever people are, even on the dance floor.

Big shoutout to @esoessafety a Las Vegas-founded company putting safety tools directly in people’s hands. Their drink spike test strips detect common date rape drugs before you take a sip. Their cup covers keep your drink protected while you’re on the move through a crowd. Simple. Practical. Life-saving.

We got to talk to people about these tools in real time, & that’s the whole point. Awareness is everything. Most people don’t know these resources exist until someone tells them. That’s what community is for.

Harm reduction doesn’t stop at the clinic. It shows up in the spaces where people are actually living their lives.

Thank you @audiobarlv for holding space for that. The Arts District needed a home like this. So much love to @protests831 @bridgienix4nevada @itsjoyhoover & @tinkliv for making the night what it was.
