Recently I was asked, “How deep is your faith in your music?” I am in the mixing phase of my third album, and my response was that I am writing the best music of my life right now…

I wasn’t being arrogant even though we all have egos… It was a matter-of-fact response behind the words… The work that I have put in and the understanding of what works for me, has culminated in what I truly believe, is my most astonishing work!

That in the last quarter of my life, I had to decide which songs were not going to be on this album instead of looking for material to add! Another thing that has made it easier for me is that I am just composing music for me and not for a certain market…

The lyrical songs come from the positivity of being in love, which seems like an endless well of ideas to write about… In fact, most of the songs are Romantic which is probably my strongest suit!

So, for a kid who grew up on a farm in Kansas, I have a wealth of influences that have come together! Soon, the world will be be able to hear what I consider my best masterpiece from the soon to be released album, Love’s Lessons!!!
