While this young woman did plan on turning herself in and dealing with her legal troubles on her own volition, the police are not going to wait for that. Hence they just bursted through her door out of nowhere and placed her under arrest. So sadly for her now she isn't going to jail with dignity, but she will do so barefoot and with her hands tightly cuffed behind her back instead. It makes her feel so humiliated. And to make it even worse, the police are filming all of it to post on their social media. Her getting escorted out of her home in handcuffs, having to let herself get thoroughly frisked, being put in the back of a police car. It is downright dehumanizing. But unfortunately for her she doesn't really have the right to feel sorry for herself. After all, she could have easily avoided all of this by simply obeying the law like everyone else. She is merely being treated like the criminal she is, no matter how much she doesn't want to accept that.
