But when this was serviced, the seconds hand was replaced badly. Along with the Oysterquartz and the Seiko SQ39, it’s one of the few quartz watches to use a jewelled escapement to operate the seconds hand. With it, the seconds hand should stop EXACTLY on the index, before jumping EXACTLY to the next one. But if it is incorrectly located on the centre post it will miss its mark each time by EXACTLY the same amount

Only slightly smaller than my first apartment!! Interestingly it looks more brutal on the leather strap than on the metal bracelet, which has equally massive links
