💰The funding to end child marriage is not keeping pace with the scale of the crisis.
Since 2015, approximately $516 million has been invested with a primary focus on ending child marriage. A further $1.27 billion has contributed to it as a secondary goal.
That sounds significant. But set against a problem affecting 1 in 5 girls globally and a world where international aid is projected to fall by 24% it is not enough.

🔷 The organisations best placed to act are under-resourced
🔷 And the window to protect existing investment is closing
That is why our 2026–2030 strategy sets an ambitious target: protect and unlock at least $1 billion to end child marriage ensuring it remains a non-negotiable priority in international funding and development agendas.

This is critical! At @projectsoar we have a holistic solution to end child mariage working with parents associations across 96 schools, running nationwide advocacy, tackling period poverty with our own menstrual solution that uses the latest menstrual technology. We have been lucky enough to have had multiple donors from the EU to the UNFPA but so much more is needed!
