I accepted a free ticket.... From my fellow Green MP @sian_berry 💚 Just months after they were elected to government, Sir Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Wes Streeting and many more replaced the Tories with the same culture of accepted free tickets (worth thousands of pounds) to concerts. These gifts are often paid for by companies in sectors like the gambling industry. Admittedly, this weekend, I accepted a gift in exchange for intense lobbying 🪎 Green MP Siân Berry gave me a ticket to the battle of our constituencies as Manchester City took on Brighton in the FA Cup final 🏆 During the match, Siân Berry relentlessly pushed her pro-Brighton agenda from their fabulous LGBTIQA+ scene to the city's beautiful beaches 🏖️ Unfortunately for Brighton that wasn't enough to save them from the might of our City girls 🩵 One thing Brighton's seagulls and I do share is a passion for chips 🍟 In all seriousness, I am committed to rooting out the corruption which has become so common in our dirty politics. I won't ever accept expensive tickets from dodgy companies.

It was inspired by a vulnerable and honest conversation about grief between @andersoncooper and @colbert that really resonated with me. Hearing their stories of loss, I started feeling more courageous to tell mine. “Tell me your story, I’ll tell you mine.” For me, this encapsulates the message of this record – sharing the thing that’s the most true, and through that building threads of connection between you and the people around you. It’s why we’re all here. Which is why after seven years I am so excited to share space with you again, and to sing these stories to, and hopefully with you. The Good Grief Tour will go on sale at 10am local time on Wednesday, June 10th, but you can sign up on my website to get first access to pre-sale tickets on Monday June 8th at 12pm local time. Pre-orders for Good Grief are available now, and I will be donating the proceeds from all album sales through my website, and all VIP upgrade packages for The Good Grief Tour, to The National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI) in support of their live-saving mental health support, education, and advocacy.
