The older I get, the more joy I am finding in the simple, quiet and sometimes mundane. I’m grateful that my mind has shifted from feeling the pressure and weight to stay relevant, to stay up to date with the latest trend or to even feel like I have it all together.

I’m reminded that life continues to go on, no matter the season. The days tick over, the weeks go by and what remains are memories of what you walked through and how people showed up for you.

I have been encouraged over this past week to just keep showing up for people, even when. Even when you think they have it all together, even when you think they have many people calling and texting. Even when you are so busy with work, even when you have to bring the kids with you to the park so they can play but you meet someone for a coffee. Truly I think that this is the church outside of the church. This is the way we love others and give. Just a few thoughts to share today. Who can you reach out to and encourage today?
