On June 30, 2026, NASA astronauts Chris Williams and Jessica Meir stepped outside of the @ISS for a spacewalk. During the seven‑hour‑and‑20‑minute event, the duo made repairs to the space station's Canadarm2 robotic arm – and spared a moment for a playful photo or two.⁣

- Williams and @astro_jessica performed the 280th spacewalk for the space station.⁣
- The longest spacewalk was on March 12, 2001. It lasted eight hours and 56 minutes.⁣
- The most spacewalks conducted in a year was 20 in 2007.⁣
