FLESH AND BONES

When you have 6 weeks for all animation before Sundance there are no shortcuts or safety nets.

For the stop motion scenes in Andre Is An Idiot, director @tonybenna built the damn thing by hand—miniature sets, a puppet Andre, every warped detail—then dragged it to life one frame at a time.

We got in the trenches with him to help produce the sequences. No plugins or cheats. Just patience, glue, light, and a healthy dose of chaos.
