I am very happy to share that Os Batismos da Meia‑Noite is becoming a book!!!

This work is a special personal journey that began in 2021 with an unexpected invitation. The studio Fahr023.1, from Porto, contacted me to offer me a residency in the north of Portugal, in a place that, in their own words, “we believe could be right for you”: Peneda‑Gerês. A mountain I had never heard of before.

Five years later, these images have gone a long way: Arles, Premio Galicia, Adorna, the first show we did at Encontros da Imagem a few years ago… and now the work is finally taking the form of a beautiful book.

I haven’t held the physical copies yet (cannot wait for it) and I will be sharing more details very soon.
