I’ve had this dream for 15 years and after years of endless blood, sweat and tears- ya girl cooked in the Master Chef kitchen!!
I was just a little girl sat in front of the tv with my mom wishing I had the talent to be on Master Chef Junior. Then when my window passed for that I made it my personal mission to get on Master Chef. In 2019, my doctors told me I had a year left to live and while I had let go of every other dream- being a mom, getting married, graduating college, etc- cooking for Gordon Ramsey was just a dream I couldn’t let go of. And I told everyone I can’t die before he tasted my food, and he can’t retire before he tasted my food 😂 and I did exactly that.
Through years of not knowing if I’d wake up the next day, I knew in my heart I’d be cooking for Chef Ramsey. This is your sign to never give up because you don’t know when it’s your time to shine. Your words are powerful, your mind is powerful, set your eyes on something and just keep going.
I met some amazing chefs around the US repping their countries. All so inspiring in their own ways, and I know will do amazing things inside and outside the Master Chef kitchen. What a blessing it was to get to know you all personally. I’m so excited to watch you all this season🤩 congrats top 20🫶🏼
What an honor and a thrill it was to cook in the Master Chef kitchen for some of the best chefs (and restaurateur) there is. Cooking in that kitchen was more intense than dying 😂 and despite not getting an apron, it’s helped me unlock a whole new side of me. Thank you to everyone who’s stood by me and never let me give up when I so desperately wanted to. The OGs remember the snap streaks of me getting admitted every week😎So grateful for my village, I couldn’t have gotten here and done all this without yall❤️❤️ And this won’t be the last you see of me👀 Here’s to top 40, till next time!
