Hey Baby Boy. Idk if i got any poetry for you tonight. Papas tired from the production. Today I felt a lot of emotions and I wasn’t aware of where all of them were coming from. It was a blessing to see your face on the phone. You were talking about a war in Minnesota (?) and then we sang Happy Birthday together and I haven’t heard your voice sound so musical before— like sometimes you’re shy to sing but today you let it flow. Your mom and I split the cost of you to attend a climbing camp this summer. Is sharing pragmatic details of the day interesting (future) ?

For God loved the world
. . .eternal life
i remember thinking off rip
you looked like my grandfather
the colors of spring
were yellow and purple flowers
we bathed you in a river when you
were 6-days-old
and you used to think
my nose was where milk
came from. . .
eish okay I caught my train of thought. I’ve been saying it a lot lately to others but I wanted to say it to you. Thank you for being a teacher to me. You helped me root down in place but moreover in myself and structure my life and begin to flourish. You forced me to begin to build a foundation and it’s that foundation that I want to continue to build for you. Rooted in community and authentic connection to people and the natural world — walking with Faith even when we cannot see. TRUSTING deeply what we feel inside and following it. I believe intuition is the highest form of intelligence.
Ehhh so it’s not like a top down thing this Father-Son. It’s mutual learning. Today I was chatting with a client and it arose like ‘the highest form of love I can show you is embodying my full potential in all forms.’ Cuz you know how kids can see all things — ya I wanna be that Human who walks what he talks. Who does what he says. Who is who he says he is. That’s part of the foundation I wanna build for you. Embodiment. Cuz when we’re connected deeply with ourselves all the beauty of this world is available and magnetically attracted.
Man Im excited for the summer we are about to share ! Ehhh but you gotta finish yo Kindergarten 1st
