Costa Rica really does feel unreal sometimes.
Standing in front of Arenal Volcano in the middle of the jungle felt like one of those moments you don’t fully process until later.
If you’ve been thinking about visiting Costa Rica, adding Arenal to your itinerary is 100% worth it. Between the volcano views, hot springs, wildlife, waterfalls, and jungle scenery… it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve experienced so far.

My son just got back from there last week where he actually proposed to his girlfriend.

Wild fact: Arenal slept for 400+ years… then erupted in 1968 and stayed active for roughly 42 years. It became one of the most active volcanoes on Earth, with near-daily lava activity for decades
