C’est incroyable.
I’m honored to have been selected for the British Council Film Lab Africa experience.
What made this experience truly special was its commitment to cross-cultural collaboration, creative exchange, and building sustainable pathways for African filmmakers and producers to thrive globally. From insightful mentorship and practical lectures to meaningful conversations with brilliant creatives across different backgrounds, every moment reinforced the power of storytelling as a tool for connection and impact.
As a Nigerian creative producer, legal consultant, and founder of Run It Creative Network, I care so much about creating systems that empower African storytellers. Not only creatively, but structurally through education, intellectual property protection, and access to opportunities that expand our stories beyond borders.
Being part of a space that encourages collaboration, innovation, industry growth, and authentic African narratives aligns strongly with the work I am building across film, television, and documentary production.
Grateful to Iconic Steps, EbonyLife Creative Academy, and The British Council (@ngbritisharts ) for creating and supporting transformative opportunities like Film Lab Africa. Spaces like this do more than teach. To connect, challenge, and inspire creatives to think bigger, collaborate across cultures, and continue telling stories that matter. Thank you for investing in emerging filmmakers, producers, and storytellers across the continent.
I’m thankful for the knowledge, the community, and the beautiful experience overall.❤️
On y va encore.
