Discover @kanagajnr ‘s looks for #AMVCA12 Day 1 and 2
Day 2 look for the Awards ceremony is a black velvet ringmaster motif jacket, wide leg pants and white bishop collar shirt. Inspired by the iconic Micheal Jackson, we wanted our man to shine on that stage in an iconic way. The jacket and pants which has over 20000 glass beads and crystal stones, was embroidered entirely by hand for cumulatively 300+ hours.
Day 1 look for the Cultural day is an all red ensemble inspired by the popular 1960s photo of Festus Okoti-eboh in a traditional attire. The look features a jacquard top embellished with over 5000 gold and silver crystal stones, gold beads and ivory pearls, paired with a velvet skirt and a detachable 25 feet train, embellished with ISI AGU (Lion head) in silver rhinestones and gold crushed beads. A royal staff crafted with red beads and a sculpted lion in gold, together with a red crown accompany the ensemble as accesories.

The level of dedication and commitment that went into bringing this look to life drawing inspiration from one of the greatest icons, Michael Jackson was truly intentional. So rewarding to see every detail come together so perfectly aligned. ❤️🔥✨
