So yesterday I posted pictures of these two building sand asked who or what connects them. I'm posting them again now plus two more which give the answer. It's John Donne. Best known as a metaphysical poet, he was also Dean of St Paul's cathedral. In his youth he ran away with Ann More of Loseley and they married. her family was not pleased.Loseley House and gardens have just opened for the summer season, and is well worth a visit.
