3 things every indie filmmaker in Toronto needs to know right now🇨🇦
Nedda Sarshar( @nedsjan ) shares the blueprint for navigating the industry without the “traditional” path:
• Apply for the Canada Council for the Arts grants. You get 3 shots a year. It renews annually. Use it!
• Film School is for the network, not the degree. If you go, go for the people and the experimentation.
• Budget for food first. Even on a $0 budget, your volunteers’ energy depends on the catering.
Send this to someone who needs to hear it✨
