Each series within the collection explores the delicate balance between life and death, capturing the peony as she radiates in bloom — and then as she softens, fades — and ultimately surrenders, to decay.

By celebrating the rare beauty and perspective in every stage of the process of life & death, the Peony Collection blends the boundaries —and makes peace with a society obsessed with perfection. In the end, what was found within each flower, was a light illuminating from within—begging to be photographed, no matter how close it seemed ready to be forgotten.
