“The righteous care for the needs of their animals…” Proverbs 12:10 ✨
One of the earliest lessons my dad taught me was to appreciate all of God’s creations, especially his animals.
He taught me to be gentle, kind, and use my voice to advocate for the creatures who cannot speak for themselves. Animals are strangers to malice; they are pure souls led by instinct, carrying so much love into the world.
Losing my dog Sparkle (the LOML) first semester in freshman year… in my arms… was one of the hardest things in my LIFE. But my love for her carried me through all 4 years.
After long days of discipline and hard work, I’ll officially be a first gen graduate with my first degree.
