I recently started saying “I shoot commercials for a living” because I think it’s the easiest/most direct translation of my job as a DP haha

What? How is that aspect the hardest part of your job? that’s like the least important thing I can think of that would make the job difficult. How would explaining what I do to people I don’t work with and are not involved in my job, make actually doing my job more difficult at all? What are you talking about? Have I been rage baited again? We need a mayonnaise commercial equivalent for this question , I don’t need follow up questions like “have you shot anything I’ve seen?” “ met any cool celebrities?” “Film weddings?” “Hurrrrr-durrrrr”
